BROWSE INSIDE REQUIEM

lauren-oliver:

Hey guys,

I just want to thank all of you who are waiting patiently to read Requiem, legally, on March 5th along with everyone else. Your patience and loyalty really means a lot to me. In the mean time, I hope you will enjoy the first 85 pages of Requiem.

Thank you so much.

xoxoLauren

Well I know what I’m doing Saturday morning…

Here’s the second part (be forewarned, there are some Pandemonium spoilers) of my gab fest with Lauren Oliver. As I’ve explained before I totally love her, and after watching this you probably will too.

Lauren talks about the Delirium sequel (6 days guys!), Requiem, the third book in the trilogy, and most importantly answers a bunch of semi-personal questions because I of course go there.

(FYI she is in fact a high-heels wearing, pasta-loving, Mr. Darcy fan all the way.)

yalitquotes:

“I guess that’s what saying good-bye is always like—like jumping off an edge. The worst part is making the choice to do it. Once you’re in the air, there’s nothing you can do but let go.”

- Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

I just found this blog dedicated to quotes from YA novels and I am already obsessed.

I always thought that listening to my own voice on an answering machine was the worst kind of personal torture.

I was wrong.

It’s actually watching myself on camera while wondering whether my temperamental lazy eye will wig out.

Potential mortification aside, I got to interview the popular (and super personable!) young adult author Lauren Oliver… And that’s pretty cool.
