Besides the unimaginable pressure of fulfilling the Weight Watchers deal with the whole world watching, a source says [Jessica] Simpson wants to slim down before her wedding, which was postponed because of the pregnancy.

I don’t often read US Weekly and today, I remembered why. Jessica Simpson entering into a contract with mega-corporation Weight Watchers for $4 million dollars solely to lose baby weight is not “unimaginable.”

You want to know what I think is “unimaginable”? A single mom raising one, two, or more kids while working numerous jobs to support herself and her family; children being served “pink slime” in our public school system; remote parts of this world where women and children have no access to clean, fresh water. These things are unimaginable.

I have never expected much from you, Us Weekly, but I think we’re though—an action, by the way, I would have thought was “unimaginable” a decade ago.
