Earlier today I alluded to the fact that I suffer from Jewish guilt so naturally I Googled it to see what came up.
I have some things to say about the results:
The “Jewish mother stereotype” Wikipedia entry is obvs first because moms are total guilt experts (sorry, mom… oof, see what I mean?)
This Jewish mom light bulb joke on Torah.org isn’t a good example. Here’s a better one: “I know you’re busy being an adult but I would love to hear from you if you ever have a second. I AM YOUR MOM, YOU KNOW.”
How is there not an Urban Dictionary entry yet?
Who is the chick in the sidebar of the wisegeek answer and what is she looking at?
The Jewish Daily Forward thinks that Jewish guilt a myth. I won’t speak for everyone but it’s my truth.
“Jewish Guilt Tripper” is one of the lamer New York Post headlines I’ve seen. Come on, Rupert, I expect more from you.
